CO Shield technology monitors the accumulation of carbon monoxide (CO), a poisonous gas produced by engine exhaust when the generator is running. If CO Shield detects unsafe elevated levels of CO gas, it automatically shuts off the engine. CO Shield is not a substitute for an indoor carbon monoxide alarm or for safe operation. It produces 4500 starting watts and 3285 running watts, and will run for 21 hours at 25% load when using a 20-pound propane tank. A 6-foot propane hose with a built-in regulator is included. With a 0.6-quart oil capacity (included 10W-30) and a low oil shut-off sensor, this inverter operates at an ultra-quiet 64 dBA from 23 feet, which is a bit louder than normal speech. Covered outlets include a 120V 30A RV (TT-30R), two 120V 20A household outlets (5-20R) and a 12V DC automotive-style outlet with a dual USB adapter.
